What a privilege to watch these two get married! From their Indian wedding at Ponsbourne Park to their English style wedding at Northbrook, Risha & Nikhil were absolute superstars.

Civil & Reception at Northbrook Park

Despite some setbacks in the morning, Nikhil's groomsmen were constantly by his side, offering re-assurance and just being there for him. The civil was held in the stunning vine room at Northbrook Park, before we headed into the Orangery to be welcomed by the Function Band! Our first time watching them perform and just wow - we were all dancing before the mains had been served! Some genuinely heartfelt speeches, a few quiet moments where Nikhil & Risha held on to each other as they listened, it was a pleasure to document it all.

Our favourite photos here were not just their couple portraits (starring peacocks!) but also the more subtle moments. For example, Nikhil's best man re-assuring him as Risha was about to walk up the aisle, or that split second moment where Risha's parents gave the couple a proud look as they joined them on the dance floor.

Indian Wedding at ponsbourne Park

Wedding photography is so much more than the "pretty", it's also about the "beautiful". These moments can be found by your photographers if they stay curious throughout the day, and really observe the deeper connections that take place through the day. For example, body language - where a gentle touch, or tension in the hands, can say more about the moment than the emotion on our faces.
